Join Merle Hoffman on Monday, January 16, 2012, at 6pm at the Falls Church Health Center for a wine and cheese reception that will include an exclusive conversation about her riveting and timely memoir, Intimate Wars: The Life and Times of the Woman Who Brought Abortion from the Back Alley to the Boardroom.
The author will share her personal stories and experiences as the founder of Choices Women’s Medical Center, one of the first and largest ambulatory abortion centers in the United States. She will also discuss the current state of the choice movement and how women can defend their right to reproductive health care.
Advanced Registration is required. Tickets and registration is per person at $10 each. Registration includes a complimentary copy of Merle's memoir. Additional books will be available at the Center. Guests are invited to join us for wine and cheese.
